We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00pm.

Payment

I make pre-authorized payments and if I change my bank information what needs to be done?

Answer:

Contact our Customer Service department. They will need a new void cheque from your new bank account. This all can be done through fax.

After I submit a new void cheque and authorization, how much lead-time is needed to change my account my pre-authorized payment account?

Answer:

In order to give the bank sufficient notice, Travelers will need at least 10 days before the next due date.

How do I obtain my pay-out quote in my account?

Answer:

Call Customer Service with your account information and a quote will be provided to you within 48 hours.

When I pay out my contract, will I receive a release letter discharging your interest in the asset?

Answer:

Yes. Upon request we will provide you a copy of the release.

Insurance

Can I change insurance companies?

Answer:

Yes. Please provide our customer service department with the new insurance information (agent, contact and phone number).

Keeping Travelers updated

If I move or change jobs, do I need to inform Travelers Financial?

Answer:

Yes. Travelers require that you notify us of any address, telephone or job change. Contact our Customer Service department.

How do I go about filing a reimbursement claim for GST?

Answer:

This first step is to obtain a GST number from Canada Revenue Agency. Once assigned GST number, you can file for a reimbursement claim through Canada Revenue. This process usually takes several months.

Owner Operator

As an owner operator, I travel quite a bit and I am not always available to handle issues with my account. Is there a way I can assign a third party to manage or discuss my account with Travelers?

Answer:

Yes. In order to comply with federal and provincial privacy legislation, Travelers requires written consent form you to discuss the account with a person you designate.
